Committees & Working Groups
Executive Committee
The CFRC Executive Committee serves as the network’s advisory and leadership body, bringing together representatives from the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust, Westcoast Community Resources Society, the Alberni‑Clayoquot Health Network, and the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Working collaboratively, the Committee provides guidance and practical support to the Community Developer to advance the CFRC’s priorities and carry out the work of the network.
Child and Youth Working Group
The Child and Youth Working group meets several times per year to share information, identify child and youth priorities, and develop strategies to increase coordination and enhance services for children and youth in the region.
Early Years Working Group
The Early Years Working Group meets a few times a year to share ideas and resources for healthy early childhood development. The group also identifies early childhood professional development needs for at least one local training per year.
Harm Reduction Working Group
Formed as a response to the provincial opioid overdose crisis, the Harm Reduction Working Group meets several times per year to share information about regional harm reduction priorities and mobilize resources and collective action on said priorities.
