A list of west coast community health resources, contacts and referral processes.
This guide outlines the primary care providers and allied health clinicians serving west‑coast communities, explains how the PCN works to improve access to coordinated, culturally safe care, and directs residents to the Health Connect Registry for support in finding a family doctor or nurse practitioner.
The plan supports both English and Nuu-chah-nulth language learning and was developed with the support of five Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations and two municipalities.

The Coming Together Forum is a biannual event hosted by the Coalition to identify local Community Health Priorities and is used to guide health planning throughout the region and in local government.
These reports provides a snapshot of our communities in numbers and stories. Bringing together data from a range of sources, this information describes the health of our region in areas that matter to us such as education, youth, environment and housing.
This report provides an overview of a gathering co-hosted November 18th, 2024 by the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust and the Westcoast Community Resources Society on the issue of community sexual assault response strategies in the Clayoquot Biosphere Region
Clayoquot Biosphere Trust and the Coastal Family Resource Coalition co‑hosted a Youth Vital Conversation, where teens from Maaqtusiis and Ucluelet Secondary Schools used the Vital Signs report to discuss how to make the region a better place to grow up, sharing perspectives on quality education, personal and professional development, mental health, and more.
Clayoquot Biosphere Trust calculates the living wage every two years to track the true cost of living in the region, calculating the hourly income needed and using the results to spotlight affordability challenges and guide employers and policymakers in improving regional quality of life.

BCCDC's “SAVE ME” guide outlines step‑by‑step actions to recognize and respond to an opioid poisoning, including stimulation, airway checks, rescue breathing, naloxone and ongoing evaluation.
Island Health provides a step-by-step guide for recognizing and responding to an opioid poisoning using 911, rescue breathing and the proper administration of Naloxone.
